Sermon text —John 10:11-18 (other readings: Acts 4:1-12; 1 John 3:16-24)

Sermon synopsis: When Jesus reinstated Peter he revealed Himself as the Good Shepherd.  He shows his love for a single sheep by forgiving Peter.  And He shows His love for His flock by commanding Peter to feed and care for His lambs.

Sermon synopsis: The Jewish High Priest made offering to God on behalf of the people.  Jesus is our perfect High Priest.  Jesus makes a sacifice of suffering and an offering of obedience fou our sins—he offers himself.
