Sermon Synopsis:  If you don’t get the punch line the joke is lost.  Many believe following the Law of God is what saves.  But in truth obedience to the Law is a prison, but in the hands of the Holy Spirit the law leads us to Christ and his Gospel which frees us and makes us sons of God clothed with Christ.  Do you get it?

Sermon Synopsis:  Are you an optimist or a pessimist?  The people building the tower of Babel were quite optimistic.  But the human spirit usually falls short, but the Holy Spirit prevails centering us on Jesus and his cross.
